Similar to the earlier project we did for Kernan Hospital, this project was a bit different than most. The UM Shock Trauma Center wanted to take a step back, re-evaluate the purpose and goals of the website, and how information was organized. Then, using the information collected, they wanted a new website that incorporated our findings.
Like we'd done for Kernan, before beginning the design process, we interviewed the appropriate business owners within the hospital to determine how the website could best meet the needs of employees and others who visit the website. After sharing the results of our research, we presented an outline of how the new website should be organized. After a few tweaks, and some revisions to the mock up, we got busy creating the new site.
The result, a fresh website that makes life easier for caregivers at the Shock Trauma Center and allow visitors to the website to find information quick and easy.
